Gopher Deterrent Fence

Gopher deterrent fence and mesh can save your lawn and garden, plantings and shrubs from costly damage caused by gophers. Small wire mesh buried under the ground will give you secure protection.

19 gauge, ½" x ½" welded wire mesh is a good choice for gopher deterrent fence. The mesh openings are small and stiff enough to prevent gophers from gaining access to the surface. There are two choices: galvanized after weld and black vinyl coated. The galvanized rolls are protected from rust and corrosion. The extra protection of vinyl coating on top of the galvanized wire assures an even longer lifetime under the ground. Extra wide 60" and 72" rolls allow for efficient coverage, eliminating the need for time-consuming splices. For above ground use, these meshes can be made into baskets to protect individual plantings.
