Woven 2" x 4" Horse Fence

There are three types of finishes available for woven 2" x 4" non-climb fence material:

Class 3 galvanizing
ZA - Zinc (5%) Aluminum (95%)
ZA + Black paint - the longest-lasting fence available

All three are far superior to Class 1 in rust and corrosion resistance. They will last years longer than those specifications available in the big box stores, and less maintenance will be required. The initial investment may be a bit higher, but there will ultimately be greater savings over the lifetime of the fence.

Woven 2" x 4" Non-Climb Wire Mesh Horse Fence -

High Tensile - Class 3 Galvanized

Woven non-climbable wire fencing mesh, made in USA by Stay-Tuff, provides both attractive appearance and long life. Strong high tensile wire is treated for maximum rust protection. Stiff stay knots, formed by a third piece of wire woven around each intersection, hold horizontal and vertical wires securely. Deep crimps in horizontal line wires allow for ease of erection over uneven land. The mesh is flexible. Woven knots are both rust-resistant, they will not hold water, and smooth, protecting both animals and people from injury. This 2" x 4" mesh woven non-climbable horse fence has strong 12½ gauge horizontal and vertical filler wires. It can be installed by itself or tacked to a three rail wood fence. This mesh is also ideal for fencing in ostrich, emu, large dogs, goats and other animals.

S or square knot The corrosion resistance of the Zinc Aluminum (ZA) finish - 95% Zinc, 5% Aluminum - is two or three times that of Class 1 galvanizing. Made in USA by Bekaert. This high strength woven horse fence uses the same style knot to hold the vertical and horizontal wires securely in place.

High strength steel wires are used throughout. Horizontal line wires are 12½ gauge. The vertical stay wires are 14 gauge. Lighter gauge makes rolls easier to handle and install. This quality horse fence remains tight for years with little maintenance required.

Woven 2" x 4" Non-Climb Wire Mesh Horse Fence - ZA + Paint

Bekaert's ZA fence is coated with black paint giving it a more attractive appearance. Also made in USA, this fencing material features heavier 10 gauge top and bottom wires on the 48" rolls. The strong horizontal and vertical wires are 12½ gauge. The same type of knot is used to tie vertical and horizontal wires together. The black paint on top of the ZA finish gives this woven horse fence a longer lifetime than heavily protected Class 3 galvanizing.

This is a fencing material that will last for many years with little maintenance and an attractive appearance that blends into the background.
