Purpose

Louis E. Page, Inc. is dedicated to identifying, preventing, and addressing actual or potential human rights issues within our sphere of control and influence. In this regard, Louis E. Page, Inc. wholeheartedly supports and adheres to the United Nations Global Compact principles and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Louis E. Page, Inc. firmly condemns human rights violations and seeks to engage with partners with similar commitments.

Scope

This policy applies globally to all Louis E. Page, Inc. directors, officers, and employees across all regions, encompassing all subsidiaries worldwide and our supply chain partners. It is intended to operate with Louis E. Page, Inc.'s Vision, Mission, and Values, other corporate policies, and the Code of Conduct.

Policy

1. Human Rights


Louis E. Page, Inc. is unwavering in its commitment to embody beliefs in human rights, dignity, and fairness, as reflected in our Code of Conduct, Vision, Mission, and Values. This commitment is further evident in our policies and processes, including but not limited to our employment practices, non-discrimination policies, minimum age requirements, fair compensation practices, and health and safety policies. In addition, Louis E. Page, Inc. will adhere to all local laws and regulations concerning human rights in all locations where we operate and abide by the principles outlined in the United Nations Global Compact and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Louis E. Page, Inc. will not knowingly or willingly participate in any violation of human rights, benefit from human rights abuses, or remain silent when human rights violations occur.

2. Labor


Louis E. Page, Inc. actively promotes human rights within its workforce. To this end, Louis E. Page, Inc.:

  • Respects the freedom of association and recognizes the right to collective bargaining as provided by law.
  • Strives to eliminate all forms of forced and compulsory labor, including prison and bonded labor.
  • Prohibits human trafficking and child labor in support of its operations.
  • Provides safe and secure working conditions for employees, contractors, and all other individuals working on its behalf.
  • Complies with all applicable wage and hour laws.
  • Does not tolerate child labor.
  • Does not discriminate against women or minorities.
  • Does not discriminate against persons belonging to religious, ethnic, linguistic,  or national minorities.
  • Believes in the protection of migrant workers and their families.

3. Corporate Policy and Practice

Louis E. Page, Inc. categorically rejects discrimination in employment and occupation. Employment-related decisions will not be based on any characteristics protected by applicable law, such as age, color, gender, gender identity, national origin, physical or mental disability, race, religion, sexual orientation, or any other legally protected personal basis.

4. Raising Concerns


All individuals are strongly encouraged to report any concerns related to human rights to Human Resources. Louis E. Page, Inc. explicitly prohibits retaliation against anyone who reports concerns in good faith.
