A Fence That Makes Music… Huh!?!

I came across something absolutely fascinating that I had to share with you – it’s in Massachusetts, and it’s making waves in the fence world (pun intended)!

As your **One-Source Fencing Force**, I love sharing unique fence innovations, and this one’s a bell-ringer!

### The Musical Fence at deCordova Sculpture Park

Ever wonder what happens when art, science, and fencing collide? Let me share something remarkable that exists at the **deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum** in Lincoln, Massachusetts.

There stands a truly innovative fence that’s been captivating visitors for years—the **"Musical Fence"** created by artist **Paul Matisse** (yes, he’s the grandson of the famous painter Henri Matisse!). This isn’t your ordinary boundary marker—it’s an **interactive musical instrument** that anyone can play.

### What Makes This Fence So Special?

- It’s constructed with **precisely tuned aluminum pipes**.
- Visitors can create music by running a mallet along its length.
- Each pipe is carefully engineered to produce specific musical notes.
- It serves both as a **functional boundary** and an **interactive piece of art**.

Think about it: Paul Matisse took something as fundamental as a fence and transformed it into an experience that brings joy to countless museum visitors. It shows us that with a bit of creativity, even the most basic elements of our properties can become something **extraordinary**.

### More Than Just a Barrier

Why am I so excited about this? Because it shows how fences can be more than just barriers—they can be **conversation starters, community gathering spots, and even works of art!**

Want to discuss how Louis Page can make your fence both functional AND remarkable (even without the musical notes)? **Terry would love to share some innovative ideas** that could work for your property! Call her at **978-486-3116**.

**P.S.** If you ever find yourself near Lincoln, Massachusetts, stop by the deCordova Museum and give this musical fence a try. Until then, let’s explore how we can make your fence project sing in its own unique way!

Wishing you a day full of joy and song,

**Debbie Page**
