1"x1" mesh, 14 gauge galvanized after welded wire (GAW) mesh and fence will last for years. After 14 gauge wire is welded into a 1"x1" mesh, it is dipped into a bath of molten zinc. The entire mesh, including the welded areas, is thoroughly sealed and protected against rust and corrosion. Because it is covered with so much more zinc than galvanized before welded wire (GBW), galvanized after welded wire (GAW) mesh and fence will last years longer. This mesh is particularly useful for animal cages and enclosures, or other applications where rust prevention and long life are desired. It is ideally suited for use as ground wire for bird pens, rabbit cages and any application where a strong, long lasting, predator resistant mesh or fence is required.

The thick layer of galvanizing thoroughly seals and protects the fence against rust and corrosion. Galvanized after welded wire will last years longer than fence and mesh that is galvanized before it is welded. This mesh is particularly useful for animal enclosures and exclusion barriers, property boundary fence, garden fence - any situation where rust prevention and long life are desired.
