Galvanized Smooth Wire
Single strand galvanized wire is wound in coils approximately 20" in diameter. Wire has a smooth finish. Strong 9 gauge wire can be used as support wire in game bird flight pens. Use 12-1/2 and 14 gauge wire for tying and fence repair work.

12-1/2 gauge High Tensile
12-1/2 gauge wire has 200,000 psi tensile strength. This wire has superior resistance to rust and corrosion. Available in Class 3 galvanized and ZA with black paint. The zinc/aluminum (ZA) coating with black paint has up to twice the rust resistance of Class 3 wire.

Poly wire can be used as support wire in game bird flight pens. Smooth finish will not snag netting. Poly wire is stable - it will not stretch or contract under a wide range of temperatures. Use 8 gauge Aluminum Crimp Sleeves (50 clamps per package) and vise-grip pliers or 4 Slot Crimping Tool to tie Poly Wire to itself.
